The Application Is Open. Your Confirmation Is the Next Check.

STEP 3 OF 3

The application is complete when the employer’s process says it is. Here is how to finish the form, check confirmation and keep a useful record.

You reached the employer’s page and uploaded your résumé. Before closing the tab, take a moment to confirm what the page says happened.

Open the employer’s application

On the StayHomeHire listing, choose Apply for job. The employer’s application opens in a new tab or window. Read the destination and follow its current instructions; it may be a careers website, applicant tracking system or recruiting platform.

  1. Create an applicant account if the employer requires one.
  2. Upload the requested résumé or documents.
  3. Complete employment history and application questions.
  4. Finish any required assessment or additional step.
  5. Review the information, then submit through the employer’s process.

Opening the page, copying a Job ID, uploading a file or saving a draft is not necessarily a submitted application.

What StayHomeHire handles

StayHomeHire helps you discover and reopen listings. The employer manages applications, interviews and hiring. StayHomeHire generally does not review your application, schedule your interview, set your pay, change location requirements or control response times. Direct questions about an application already submitted to the employer’s own support route.

Look for a clear completion message

Follow the employer’s process and look for a success screen, confirmation number or email. Some systems use different wording, so read the final state carefully. An upload or saved draft alone does not confirm submission.

Keep a small private record

Save the employer, role, submission date and any confirmation the system provides. Add the StayHomeHire Job ID separately so you can find the original listing. Keep the employer’s own application reference separate from the SHH code, and avoid unnecessary sensitive information in a shared tracker.

If confirmation is missing or the page changes

If the page errors, check whether a confirmation arrived or an applicant account shows the submission before submitting again blindly. Use the employer’s support route when needed. Do not assume that a missing email means the application failed.

If the employer clearly says the role is closed, paused or no longer accepting applications, continue searching for another suitable opening. An earlier open page or a saved StayHomeHire listing does not guarantee continuing availability.

If a StayHomeHire application link is broken or points to the wrong role, return to the listing and use Report a problem. Include its Job ID and a brief description of the issue, without private documents or login details. Read how HireShield uses reports.

Make the last check a habit

A thirty-second check after Submit can leave you with a clearer record. Confirmation is evidence of what the application system received; it is not a promise of an interview, an offer or a hiring decision.

Find a remote role, or return to the application hub if you need an earlier step.
