SideStash Rules

Useful information and practical next steps from StayHomeHire.

Rules Hub / SideStash

Optional surveys. Useful downloads. Clear rules.

Side Stash lets members use optional surveys to earn Socks, then choose individual StayHomeHire kits to unlock. Socks have no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred, sold or exchanged for money. Public job listings, employer application links, existing free guides and free tools remain free. A kit does not give you exclusive jobs or priority applications.

Your account

Your Socks, resource access and activity are attached to your StayHomeHire account. Create an account or join with an existing account, confirm your email and accept these rules before earning or unlocking a new resource. New members receive a Member role with basic account access, not editorial, employer or job-publishing permissions. Existing WordPress users keep their current roles. You must be at least 18 and meet any higher legal age requirement where you live.

How Socks work

Before starting, check the reward and estimated length shown by the survey provider. Available surveys, qualification, duration and rewards vary; opening or attempting a survey does not guarantee Socks. We award only Socks confirmed by the provider. Eligible screen-out, rating and other supported bonuses count when the survey provider reports them; a screen-out with no reward adds no Socks. Socks can include fractions. They are resource-access units, not a dollar balance or a claim to survey publisher revenue.

StayHomeHire receives publisher revenue from the survey provider. Members receive the stated noncash Sock reward and can spend their available Socks on individual kits in the library. The survey provider does not separately promise a cash payment to a Side Stash member. One completion does not automatically unlock every kit; choose the kit you want when you have enough Socks for it.

Choose a kit before you unlock

The library includes the Résumé Rescue Kit, Remote Interview Kit and First Freelance Client Kit. Each kit shows its own Sock cost, preview and included files before you confirm. Your available balance must cover that kit. Socks are deducted once when its unlock is recorded; unlocking one kit does not spend Socks on the others.

An unlocked kit stays in My Stash without a scheduled expiry. You can keep its personal-use downloads; online readers remain available while your account and the service operate. Do not resell, redistribute or republish the kits. These resources provide general practical guidance, not personalised professional advice or a guarantee of interviews, clients, employment or income.

Activity and corrections

Your activity lists confirmed Socks, individual kit unlocks and adjustments. The survey provider may later reverse a survey reward. A correction creates a new record; it does not silently erase the original entry. If Socks have already been spent, a reversal can leave a negative Sock balance. Future confirmed Socks offset that adjustment before another unlock. A negative Sock balance is not a cash debt. A routine provider reversal does not remove an already unlocked kit. Contact support if an entry looks wrong.

Earlier earned records stay separate

Cash rewards or withdrawal records earned under an earlier Side Stash policy remain separate. They are not converted into content Socks and do not disappear when you accept these rules. Earlier Sock activity and owned resources also remain recorded. No new cash withdrawal is created by this program. Contact support about a prior obligation; its original eligibility, review, funding and payment records remain available to authorised reviewers.

Honest participation and reviews

Use one personal account and truthful survey answers. Do not automate surveys, impersonate others or fabricate responses. The survey provider sets its own survey eligibility and participation requirements. Shared households, shared devices, travel or a VPN signal are not automatic proof of abuse in StayHomeHire’s account reviews.

Account security status is separate from Socks and access. A routine review keeps sign-in, history, owned resources, support and appeals accessible. A restriction notice explains the affected action, general reason, next step and appeal route. Restrictions and restorations are recorded. A risk score alone is not a reason to permanently ban someone or confiscate legitimate rewards. Use your security inbox or contact support with the case reference.

Privacy and support

Survey matching, account records, cookies and data choices are explained in our single Privacy page. Use Help for questions or appeals. Optional surveys may pause for technical or security checks while your existing library and support remain available. Our controls reduce risk; they cannot prevent every fraud, error or delay.

For an entry that looks wrong, open your balance activity and select its flag. Include what needs checking; do not include passwords or sensitive identity documents.
