Peak Health is hiring a Community Outreach Representative to build relationships across Northern West Virginia and support its growing Medicare Advantage program. The representative will organize community events, create qualified sales opportunities, educate residents about Medicare, and develop partnerships with providers and community organizations.
Although classified as remote, this is a field-based position requiring substantial travel throughout Northern West Virginia and occasional Pennsylvania coverage.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with community organizations and local influencers
- Plan outreach activities, presentations, and special events
- Generate qualified Medicare sales leads
- Coordinate event locations, materials, advertising, and logistics
- Deliver Medicare educational presentations
- Build relationships with providers and community partners
- Follow Medicare marketing regulations and CMS guidelines
- Track event results and return on investment
- Support Medicare sales and member-retention programs
- Collaborate with internal teams and external sales agents
Minimum qualifications
Applicants must meet one of these combinations:
- Associate degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or a related field plus two years of Medicare Advantage experience; or
- High school diploma or equivalent plus four years of Medicare Advantage experience
Also required:
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong relationship-building ability
- Knowledge of Medicare Advantage sales
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Organizational and CRM skills
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
Preferred qualifications
- West Virginia health-insurance license in good standing
- Medicare Advantage and Dual Special Needs Plan experience
- Existing relationships with West Virginia community partners, providers, gatekeepers, and industry influencers
Remote clarification
The position is remote for day-to-day administrative work but requires heavy travel in the Morgantown, Fairmont, and broader Northern West Virginia region. Occasional office attendance may be required monthly or quarterly.
