TELUS Digital is seeking Digital Content Evaluators to participate in a flexible, remote freelance project supporting the development and improvement of AI-powered search technology.
As part of the TELUS Digital AI Community, contributors help collect, enhance, train, translate, localize, and evaluate content used to improve AI models and digital experiences.
What You’ll Do
• Review and evaluate online content, including text, images, videos, webpages, and search results.
• Assess content for relevance, quality, accuracy, usefulness, and alignment with user intent.
• Compare digital results and provide structured feedback using established project guidelines.
• Review content that may include sensitive, upsetting, or potentially offensive material.
• Identify content that may be inappropriate, misleading, low quality, or unsuitable for certain audiences.
• Help improve online safety, content discovery, and the overall quality of digital user experiences.
Basic Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must have resided in the United States for the past 3 consecutive years.
• Familiarity with current and historical U.S. business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs.
• Active use of Gmail and social media platforms.
• Experience using web browsers to navigate and interact with different types of online content.
• Daily access to a reliable broadband internet connection.
• Access to a personal computer.
• Access to a smartphone running Android 5.0 or higher or iOS 14 or higher.
Experience
No previous professional experience is required.
Qualification Process
Applicants must successfully complete:
• An English language assessment.
• An open-book qualification exam.
• Identity verification.
Compensation
Compensation is based on completed tasks and project availability.
Estimated earnings may vary depending on task volume, quality, productivity, program requirements, and established program guidelines.
Schedule
This is a flexible independent-contractor opportunity. Contributors may choose when and how much they work, subject to project availability and quality requirements.
Important Information
Only one member per household may participate in the TELUS Digital Rating Program. If more than one person from the same household participates, all associated accounts may be removed from the program.
