1. Read The Role

Employer And Role: ___
Interview Date And Time Zone: ___
Platform Or Call Details: ___
Three Main Requirements: ___

2. Build A Real Story

The Question Or Skill: ___
Situation: What was happening?
My Responsibility: What part did I own?
My Actions: What did I actually do?
Result: What changed, and how do I know?
Reflection: What would I keep or change next time?

Repeat this section for solving a problem, communicating with others and handling a setback. Examples can come from work, study, volunteering or a personal project when relevant. Identify the source accurately. Rehearse aloud once, then reduce your notes to a few prompts.

3. Prepare A Clear Introduction

“My background is in ___. A strength relevant to this role is ___. For example, I ___. I am interested in this opportunity because ___.” Use that as a planning outline, not a script you must recite. Choose details that help explain your fit for this role.

4. Choose Three Questions

About The Work: What should the new person handle confidently in the first few months?
About The Team: How do people ask for help and hand work over?
About The Practical Fit: What schedule, location or training requirement still needs confirmation?

5. Check Your Setup

Confirm the link and time zone. Test sound and the platform. Charge your device. Close private tabs and notifications. Keep the recruiter’s existing contact route ready. Read the rules for notes, recordings and any assessment. Ask about an accommodation early enough for it to be arranged.

6. Capture The Next Step

What I Learned: ___
What I Promised To Send: ___
Expected Next Step And Date: ___
One Answer To Improve: ___
