Cookie Information & Privacy Choices

Useful information and practical next steps from StayHomeHire.

Your privacy. Your choice. This page explains cookies and similar technologies on StayHomeHire, how to control optional tracking, and where to learn about privacy rights in your region.

What cookies do

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Local storage serves a similar purpose. Tracking can also use scripts, pixels and embedded content. Some technologies are necessary for sign-in, security and remembering a privacy choice; others support analytics, preferences or advertising.

Choose what works for you

Reject optional keeps optional categories off. Accept all allows the optional categories, subject to any active sale/share opt-out and Global Privacy Control signal. Customize lets you choose analytics, advertising, and preferences or embedded media separately. Essential storage stays on. Browsing or scrolling does not give consent.

Use the Privacy settings button to change your choices or withdraw optional consent at any time. Choices apply to this browser and device. Clearing browser storage may cause the banner to appear again. Optional code already loaded is stopped by reloading the page when you withdraw consent. Deleting cookies on another provider’s domain may require that provider’s tools or your browser settings.

Cookie and service information

Hosting measurement exception: verification found a hosting-injected Website Metrics script added after WordPress renders the page. The cookie banner cannot control that script at this layer. A hosting-level opt-out is pending; this page does not claim that all optional measurement is already blocked. See the hosting provider’s explanation and opt-out instructions.

The inventory describes services identified during setup and storage they may use. Cookie names and durations can change with provider configuration and the features you use. Sign-in, account tools, surveys and linked third-party sites may have additional notices. A linked employer or survey provider has its own privacy practices.

Advertising and Global Privacy Control

Open Privacy settings and choose Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information to disable the marketing category for this browser. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC), the plugin also disables marketing. It keeps a sale/share opt-out for 365 days where browser storage is available. An active opt-out is not reversed by Accept all. Contact us if you want help changing an opt-out or exercising rights relating to information held outside this browser.

Some advertising disclosures use the terms sale, sharing, or targeted advertising as defined by local law. These definitions can include some advertising disclosures even when no money changes hands. This control addresses the optional marketing integrations managed by our plugin; privacy requests about other processing can be made through our contact page. See California’s CCPA guidance and Colorado’s opt-out guidance.

Google consent and the certified message

Google Consent Mode v2 communicates choices for analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization. These technical signals do not certify a website or replace a privacy notice.

Our OMGItzLo Projects plugin supports a companion connection to Google’s certified AdSense consent message. Google’s message manages its own publisher and vendor consent choices. The custom plugin itself is not Google-certified. Use Google advertising privacy choices in Privacy settings when the Google message is available.

Current setup status: the Google certified-message connection is pending AdSense reactivation and message publication. Google tracking managed by companion mode remains blocked unless a usable Google consent signal and the relevant site choice both permit it. The site does not claim that a certified Google message is already live. See Google’s publisher CMP requirements.

Privacy rights by region

The following is an information guide to the frameworks listed here, rather than a statement that every law applies to StayHomeHire or that every legal obligation is handled by a cookie banner. Applicability depends on your location, the organisation and the processing. Our optional-category controls use an opt-in approach worldwide. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of information, object to processing, opt out of certain uses, or complain to a regulator. Use our contact page for requests beyond browser cookie choices.

European Union / EEA — GDPR

The GDPR governs personal-data processing. Consent must meet its conditions and can be withdrawn. Separate ePrivacy rules also govern storage and access on devices. Read the law or official guidance.

United Kingdom — UK GDPR and PECR

UK guidance explains consent for non-exempt storage and access technologies and making refusal as easy as acceptance. Read the law or official guidance.

California — CCPA, as amended by CPRA

Covered businesses must provide applicable privacy rights, including opting out of sale or sharing and honoring qualifying opt-out signals. Read the law or official guidance.

Virginia — VCDPA / CDPA

The law provides rights for eligible consumers, including opting out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. Read the law or official guidance.

Colorado — CPA

Eligible consumers can opt out of sale and targeted advertising. Colorado recognizes GPC as a universal opt-out mechanism. Read the law or official guidance.

Utah — UCPA

The law includes consumer access and other rights and opt-outs for targeted advertising and sale, subject to its scope and exceptions. Read the law or official guidance.

Connecticut — CTDPA

Eligible consumers have privacy rights, and covered businesses must honor qualifying universal opt-out preference signals. Read the law or official guidance.

Australia — Privacy Act

The Australian Privacy Principles govern relevant handling of personal information. Tracking technologies need suitable notice, purpose and safeguards. Read the law or official guidance.

Brazil — LGPD

Personal-data processing needs an applicable legal basis. Brazil’s ANPD publishes guidance on cookies, choices and transparency. Read the law or official guidance.

Singapore — PDPA

Consent, notification and purpose obligations apply to covered handling of personal data, with statutory exceptions. Read the law or official guidance.

Thailand — PDPA

Where consent is the legal basis, individuals can withdraw it, subject to applicable restrictions. Read the law or official guidance.

Saudi Arabia — PDPL

The PDPL and implementing regulations govern covered processing and provide individual rights, including withdrawal where processing relies on consent. Read the law or official guidance.

Canada — PIPEDA

Meaningful consent requires understandable information about collection, use, disclosure and relevant consequences. Read the law or official guidance.

Quebec — private-sector privacy law, modernized by Law 25

Quebec guidance addresses consent and technologies used for identification, location or profiling, including keeping those functions off by default. Read the law or official guidance.

South Africa — POPIA

POPIA regulates personal-information processing and provides rights such as access, correction, objection and withdrawal of consent where applicable. Read the law or official guidance.

Technical frameworks are different from laws

IAB Europe’s Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) is an industry standard used to communicate publisher and vendor consent. Google Consent Mode is a tag-control mechanism. Neither is itself a privacy law. Google’s certified message provides its applicable framework signals; the custom banner does not invent TCF strings or a CMP certification number.

Your consent record

The consent cookie normally lasts 180 days. The plugin can retain a pseudonymous server receipt for 180 days, recording the choices, time, policy version and a random receipt identifier. The receipt does not include your name, email address, IP address or browser user-agent string. A temporary, salted network hash is used for request rate limiting. Ordinary hosting access logs may be handled separately, as explained in the Privacy Policy. You can download your current receipt from Privacy settings.

Questions, requests and complaints

Use our contact page for privacy requests, including access, correction, deletion, information about transfers or retention, and concerns about a consent choice. Tell us which request you want to make and the relevant browser receipt identifier if you have one. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents through the cookie controls. We may need proportionate information to locate records or verify requests when the applicable law permits or requires it. Where available, you may raise a complaint with your local privacy authority.

Cookie controls do not replace separate obligations concerning contracts with providers, security, international transfers, children’s data, privacy impact assessments, or handling rights requests. The settings here address browser choices; other processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
