Firstsource is hiring a remote Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist in the United States. The role follows up professional and hospital insurance claims to resolve unpaid or underpaid accounts.
What you will do
Work Epic billing queues, contact payers, investigate payment discrepancies, correct or resubmit claims, prepare appeals and document account activity. Protect confidential patient information and meet quality/productivity targets.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The employer prefers at least two years of healthcare revenue-cycle, claims or accounts-receivable experience and strongly prefers Epic billing/follow-up experience. The posting calls for billing and remittance knowledge, payer-portal skills and typing at 30–40 words per minute. Relevant college education is preferred.
