Work on hospital and physician accounts by checking insurance claim status, reviewing remittances and EOBs, collecting missing information, submitting corrected claims or appeals and billing secondary insurers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Medical billing, insurance collections or revenue cycle experience preferred; three years of experience preferred, not stated as mandatory.
- EPIC preferred; Microsoft Office and billing/claims-form knowledge.
Pay and schedule
$16–$26/hour (USD). Full-time.
