Copart is hiring a remote Customer Service Representative to help coordinate vehicle releases and pickups. This position works directly with body shops, vehicle owners, insurance companies, shops, and towing providers while keeping vehicle records accurate and up to date.
What You’ll Do
• Contact body shops to confirm vehicle pickup information and obtain authorization to release vehicles.
• Communicate with vehicle owners to obtain required releases, coordinate transportation, assist with removal of personal belongings, and participate in three-way calls with shops or towing companies when necessary.
• Research VINs and vehicle information using the DeCode This tool.
• Maintain accurate notes and documentation for vehicles and customer interactions.
• Work toward daily performance expectations, including 100+ calls and processing 60+ live lots per day.
• Participate in weekly Microsoft Teams meetings and collaborate with the remote team.
• Follow Copart policies and procedures and assist teammates with additional duties when needed.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of office-support experience in a customer-service role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable spending significant time communicating by telephone.
• Typing speed of at least 45 WPM and familiarity with basic 10-key entry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional virtual appearance and a quiet, distraction-free remote workspace.
• Ability to work occasional overtime.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
Remote Work
This is a 100% remote position. Copart provides office equipment for the role. Employees participate in weekly virtual team meetings and receive ongoing performance feedback.
Compensation
$16.04–$22.00 per hour.
For positions in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington, the listed range is $18.00–$24.00 per hour.
