DoorDash is hiring an Associate – Product Operations to join the DoorDash Drive New Verticals team and help scale new logistics and parcel delivery services.
This role focuses on product and quality strategy for one of DoorDash’s newest business lines. The Associate will become an expert in the product, operations, and merchant experience while helping drive merchant growth and improve service quality.
About the Team
DoorDash Drive is a high-growth platform serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers across the United States, Canada, and Australia.
The Drive New Verticals team works with cross-functional partners to develop new service offerings and quickly launch new merchants and revenue opportunities on the DoorDash platform.
What You’ll Do
• Build high-impact playbooks, models, processes, and tools to help the business grow more quickly and effectively.
• Bring structure to undefined opportunities and operational challenges.
• Work cross-functionally with Business Development, Product, Logistics, and Operations teams.
• Influence product roadmaps and help establish requirements.
• Understand the needs of merchant partners.
• Prioritize partner needs based on potential impact.
• Assess tradeoffs and design solutions that improve both speed and quality.
• Monitor service quality and investigate situations where performance deviates from expectations.
• Provide recommendations to Product and Operations teams on ways to optimize DoorDash’s service offerings.
• Perform comprehensive analyses and make recommendations regarding business strategy.
• Solve key problems using a data-driven, first-principles approach, including identification, sizing, pricing, impact analysis, root-cause analysis, and tradeoffs.
• Help develop product and quality strategies that align with market expectations and the evolving needs of merchants and customers.
Qualifications

Compensation
$74,800–$110,000 per year.
This is the national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
Actual compensation is determined based on factors including skills, relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to the employee’s work location.
