Facebook Group Rules

Useful job-search conversations start with respect, honest information and clear boundaries. Anyone looking for work or supporting a job search is welcome in either StayHomeHire community.

These shared rules apply to Moms, Minus the Commute | WFH Jobs by StayHomeHire and Clock In, Stay In | Remote & WFH Jobs by StayHomeHire. Both communities are owned by StayHomeHire. Choose the conversations that fit your next move; anyone looking for work or supporting a job search is welcome.

Everyone can join. Respectful participation matters.

Both groups are public and discoverable, with no membership approval gate. Your state or country, experience level, gender or family situation is not a test for joining. Optional location and job-type questions help us share relevant information; you can skip them. Facebook’s own account requirements still apply.

Public-group posts, comments and reactions can be seen beyond the membership. Share broad preferences, not private documents. Submitted posts may be reviewed before appearing; this is content moderation, not an admission process. Review happens during the owner’s available hours.

1. Be respectful. Everyone is welcome.

Different backgrounds, family situations, experience levels and career paths belong here. No harassment, discrimination, personal attacks or shaming someone for the work they need. Disagree with an idea without insulting the person.

2. No fees to apply or get a job.

Do not post application fees, paid job placement, mandatory purchases or paid training presented as a condition of getting a job. No equipment-check schemes, reshipping schemes, cryptocurrency payments or money-flipping offers. Optional career tools are not a requirement to apply.

3. No MLM recruiting or business-opportunity pitches.

No multilevel marketing, downline recruitment, pyramid schemes or pay-to-join opportunities. This is a job-search community. A recruiting pitch does not become a job lead because it says work from home.

4. Post real details, not promises.

Job leads need an employer name, role, official careers link and important location, schedule, phone, travel or hybrid requirements. List pay only when the employer provides it. No invented salaries, guaranteed hiring, easy-income claims, fake testimonials or edited job screenshots that hide requirements.

5. No unsolicited recruiting DMs.

Do not message members with recruiting, sales or referral pitches without their permission. Do not use 'DM me for the job' to hide basic details. Verified recruiters must ask the admin before promoting roles. Admin approval does not guarantee a job or endorse a recruiter.

6. Keep sensitive information out of the group.

Never request or post bank details, passwords, Social Security or national ID numbers, identity documents or account access in posts, comments or DMs. Do not upload an unredacted resume. Handle any legitimate later-stage onboarding only through the verified employer's secure process.

7. Remote does not always mean flexible.

Read the employer's full posting. Remote roles can require certain states or countries, phone work, fixed shifts, a quiet workspace, on-site training or travel. Label hybrid jobs clearly. Non-phone opportunities are welcome when available; this group is not exclusively non-phone. Remote employment does not replace childcare.

8. Keep promotion useful and transparent.

No spam, unrelated advertising, repeated referral drops or link dumps. Ask the admin before posting a business or paid service. Disclose any financial connection near the recommendation. Sharing a relevant free resource is welcome; repeatedly pushing it at members is not.

9. Report problems without piling on.

Use Facebook's report-to-admin option for a suspicious lead or rule violation. For a StayHomeHire listing, use Report a problem on that job page. Do not post someone's private details or pressure members to confront them. Only share screenshots after removing personal information.

10. Admin decisions protect the community.

Posts may be reviewed, declined or removed. Repeat or serious violations can lead to removal or blocking. StayHomeHire shares leads and resources; it is not the hiring employer and cannot promise interviews, earnings, hiring or continued job availability.

When something needs attention

Report a suspicious post or rule violation to the group admins using Facebook’s reporting controls. For a job listed on StayHomeHire, use Report a problem on the job page. A visitor report flags the listing for review; it does not remove the job. Only the site owner removes a listing.

Moderation should be clear and consistent. Admins may explain a declined post by pointing to the relevant rule. Serious scams, threats, harassment or repeated violations may lead to removal or blocking. No public pile-ons, demands for private proof or pressure to share personal circumstances.
