R1 is hiring a full-time remote representative to help patients understand and resolve healthcare bills.
Pay and schedule
- $18–$20 per hour.
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Pacific or 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Central, as listed by the employer.

Daily work
Handle high-volume patient calls, explain insurance statements, arrange payment plans and document billing issues while protecting patient information.
Qualifications
At least one year of customer-service or call-center experience is required. Medical billing, insurance claims and healthcare system experience are strongly preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records is helpful.
